This band has NOTHING to do with Cobain's band. Nirvana 2002 were one of the early-wave swedish death metal bands. They were shortlived. After releasing 2 rehearsal demos, this demo tape, a 4-track promo tape (1991) and recording one track 'Mourning' for 'Projection Of A Stained Mind' sampler with rare or otherwise unreleased tracks the band deceased. The singer and guitar player Orvar Safstrom was later hired by Entombed, recorded 12" single "Crawl" with them and quit. He now works for the Swedish TV.
