... And Bootlegs For All

Megadeth - Live in Yokohama, Japan, 2000 ("So What Now?")

Venue: Kanagawa Kenmin Hall: Yokohama, Japan
 Date: March 3, 2000
 Time: 56:41/30:43
 Size: 2 CDs

 Sound: B+, AUD
Notes: Source: "So What Now?" (Homemade Japanese CDR Release). Back in 2002-03 a friend of mine did a video rip of VHS recording of this gig. The quality was ok, nothing spectacular but still nice to have. Late 2010 I received from John what he claimed to be an upgrade and here were his comments: "I bought this directly from a seller in japan. This might be the audio from the video of this show that exists but i havent compared it myself. This source sounds better then the other one that exists already. As of Nov 2010 this is the best sounding audio of this show known to exist." I compared the recording I had and this one and it turned out to be the same although this one was definitely ripped from a lower-gen vid hence sounded indeed better however I had to increase the right channel to make it even with the left one. So after so many years we have a full audience recording of this gig sounding really nice with some slightly distorted moments.
