... And Bootlegs For All

Megadeth - Live in St. Louis, MO, USA, 1985

Venue: The Manor: St. Louis, MO, USA
 Date: July 3, 1985
 Time: 45:20
 Size: 1 CD

 Sound: AUD, B+/A-
Notes: The story goes on (see Texas 1985 and some other boots). I got a tape from a person who was in trades from 1982 through 1990 and he got that show around fall of 1985. So it means it's very low gen copy. So the guy was so extremely nice and sent me this very tape and not a copy from it. So I got this transferred to .wav > and then burnt onto CDR. Ron you rule!!
As for the show itself it's quite known and usual, but quite often incorrectly dated as March 3, 1985, but the correct date is July. Anyways, the quality of the recording is WAY better then all sources (two) I heard. Still there's a touch of hiss, which I couldn't completely delete. The gig is a really cool early megadeth gig with a lot of Dave's rants etc. "These Boots" have very unsual rock'n'rollish beginning. Dave talks about some really bad car accident they got in "f*cking Cleveland shithio". This was the only show surfaced so far where the band plays "Into The Lungs Of Hell"! At the end of the show the fire broke out on the stage (at least Dave said it did). Really recommended.
