Comments from taper: "This was the last act in the Gigantour collection, of which I didn't bother with the first four acts (Bring me the Horizon, Lacuna Coil, Static X and Devil Driver). The really disappointing thing was that the sound guy once again screwed up. At least the guitars weren't muddy during the solos though they could've done with a little more brightness in the rhythm sections. The drums were all bottom heavy with little to no cut out of anything beyond the hi-hats. You'll notice in between songs (when Megadeth finally take a short break!), I yell out to the sound guy to turn up the crash cymbals, which weren't making any appearances out of the overhead mics. It was impossible for me to EQ the crash cymbals for a little cutting presence because that would just overemphasise the vocals, kick drum click and hi-hats. Anyway, it's still a worthy addition to my collection and hopefully it will be for yours too. All feedback appreciated. Enjoy!" As for me, I enjoyed the recording of that first night of two meganights in Syndey. The setlist is great and of course it's interesting to hear the ATLM rendition with Christina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil.
