... And Bootlegs For All

Megadeth - Live in Brooklyn, NY, USA

 Venue: L'Amour: Brooklyn, NY, USA
 Date: December 13, 1985
 Time: 71:04
 Size: 1 CD

 Sound: B, AUD
Notes: It's always nice to get upgrades for the recording that are more than 25 y.o. For years I've had this show in shitty quality in mp3. Only in late 2012 I received a lossless source, remastered it a bit - normalized, made channels even etc. So now it sounds not bad i'd say for such an old recording. There's only one sad thing here - there's a digi noise (not that evident) throughout the recording, sounds like skipping - the one you get when rip CD to wav incorrectly or on a bad burner.
Now about the gig itself. The band is back to the East Coast and Dave enjoys it a lot. Quite a historical recording since it features one of the first recordings of early version of Wake Up Dead with different lyrics. Dave states "it's a new one" for quite a number of times throughout the gig and comments on this or that song. This is also the first (as surfaced so far) bootleg appearance of Peace Sells and Mary Jane! There are two encores and the house announcer even goes out to cheer the crowd when he thought the gig was over but the band took the stage yet again to perform LDTC!
