Another extremely rare item that another great megadeth trader John shared with me. The sound on this is pretty nice overall for a pretty much uncalculated aud recording from ‘88. I’ve never seen this show on ANYONE else’s list so calling it RARE is truly an understatement! A very rare appearance of 502 in the setlist! The first song Set The World Afire cuts in at very beginning and the sound is kinda rough, but improves shortly after. From looking at the setlist it looks like there are most likely 3 song before Set the world afire that are missing from this recording (Wake Up Dead/The Conjuring/Hook In Mouth). There is a loud noise that almost sounds like the recording was paused/unpaused at the very beginning of Mary Jane, I have no idea what this is really from. At the beginning of track 4 dave says: "Ya know tomorrow morning at about 6:00am we have to leave for the fuckin airport to go to London to go play Castle Donnington". Before 502 Dave talks about getting busted right after he turned 21 for drunk driving. At the end of Peace Sells Dave says: "Thank you New York..goodnight". After Anarchy in the UK the taper says into the mic: "Megadeth at The Ritz...August 18th...this has been a "Living After the Night Production". Shortly after this Dave comes back on stage and says: "This is our last show on the SFSGSW American Tour...and ah we got to choose where we wanted to end it and we ended it here with you guys here in New Your City". All in all it’s a great piece of Megadeth live history! Thank you so much John!
