It is hard to say put the feeling in writing. First of all it's always great to find an unsurfaced recording almost ten years after it was recorded. Secondly, it's great when the show was recorded in Japan. And lastly, when the show has such an amazing setlist - Dave and boyz did a perfect job with adding/changing songs in their Japanese Cryptic 1998 set - for instance I don't really remember for how many years they hadn't performed Devil's Island before 1998? And of course here we have Liar and more great stuff including 2 unplugged tracks which I assume was a special treat for Japanese fans. BTW the spoken part in 'Countdown to Extinction' is done in Japanese! The recording sadly lacks about first 15 minutes, cause the taper was late for the show and he had some probs with mic i assume in the very beginning, but all-in-all this is a very good DAT recording! Anyways, I would like to say enourmous thank you to Keiichi for sharing this!!
